Paige Williamson
Paige Williamson is a portrait and documentary photographer based in the GTA. Her work emphasizes vibrant authenticity. Paige is known for bringing kindness and laughter to any set while she builds meaningful relationships and creates imagery that celebrates individuality.
‘Essence of Self’ is a photographic portrait series centred on layering the individual with their artwork and practice. Bringing the creatives to the forefront, it explores themes of identity and self expression, while showcasing the essence of the creatives within each image. Utilizing analog and digital techniques Paige wishes to bring to the forefront artists identities and find a deeper meaning to who they are as a person. Working together with each artist, Paige gets to know each of them before the shoot and while on set in order to ensure there are details throughout the portrait that truly show the essence of who they are along with the art form they practice.
