Photography doesn't have to be a grand gesture; it’s about the small details. Some days I’m experimenting without much structure, letting my curiosity lead the way; other days, I’ll obsess and refine the smallest elements until I’m satisfied. My work and I are guided by an endless search for those rare seconds when reality decides to show its face.
The images in this series are hand-coloured through a deliberate and tactile process. Each photograph is first converted to black & white in Photoshop, printed, and then colourized using pastels and paintbrushes. This approach allows for physical engagement with the image, where colour is not digitally imposed but gradually built by hand, emphasizing the process and cultivating an intimate connection with the photographic surface.
