Growing up in Oakville, Ontario, Wes Makowski sought to be liked but felt he was treated like an outcast. Photography offered an opportunity for connection and experimentation. Wes documents “outcasts like himself,” often experimenting with lighting styles, cameras, and Photoshop to manipulate his subjects.
