James Hurren is a Toronto-based photographer working across food, drink, and product imagery. Using light, colour, and constructed sets, he creates images that move between precision and controlled disruption.
His work often explores moments of motion and transformation, liquid in mid-air, shifting reflections, and carefully staged environments. Influenced by bars, kitchens, and social spaces, his photographs examine how food and drink can be shaped into atmospheric, sensory experiences.
